Electric Cooker Circuits Installed & Relocated

Electric Cookers often need their own dedicated circuits and cannot simply be plugged into the nearest socket.

This requires a cable installing from the consumer unit/fuse board to the cooker, if one does not exist already.

Quite often during kitchen remodelling, the existing cooker circuit is not located conveniently and needs moving.

These are both jobs that we can help with, in a prompt and professional manner.  You be sure that you will be receiving expert care from James (the business owner) and our small team of electricians.  We are family owned and run, based in the very heart of Wakefield, WF1.

Standalone Cooker Installation - WDH / Other Housing Association

We fit standalone cookers for tenants in WDH and other housing association properties.  

You will be asked to see evidence that the cooker has been installed professionally: we supply full installation certification and can also forward this to your housing association on your behalf.

Installation by the electricians from WDH or other housing associations in the local area can be very expensive.  We can provide a better service, cheaper, and with the required certification.  

If you live in a property owned by:

• Wakefield District Housing (WDH)
• Yorkshire Housing Association
• Foundation Housing
• Stonham Housing
• Together Housing
• Anchor Housing

Then you will be required to have your standalone electric cookers installed by a registered electrician.  Whilst some of the housing associations will cover this work, they charge in excess of £90 in some instances for their electrician to visit and install your cooker

Standalone cooker installation is only £60 (where connection point already exists) - This price is all inclusive together with electrical certificate to prove it has been installed correctly by a Part P approved contractor (this being a requirement by most housing associations now including those listed above)
